WOW, I DIDN’T KNOW THERE WAS ANYTHING I WAS TOO YOUNG FOR

Well, today, I found out I am too young.  What for you ask?  Well, in Louisiana, I am apparently too young to received the vaccine for Covid-19 right now.  It seems that the Governor and his advisors in the medical field have earmarked the available doses of Covid vaccination to those over 70.

Being a “mere” 67, I am not qualified yet.  I am sure in the next month or so, it will work its way “down” to me and younger people.

If there is any question, I will say that I approve of this priority of giving the vaccine.  First, I believe were medical professionals, who need to be healthy to help others, followed by the 70 and over crowd.  I suspect I will be in the next batch to be designated as eligible.

Incidentally I am not upset by this, just amazed that I am actually still “too young” for anything.

  1. I’m also considered too young for the vaccine right now, but, I am also considered a medically vulnerable person so come mid February I should be offered my first dose.

    Fingers crossed.

  2. My Mom & Dad received their first Covid Immunization shot last week 🥳
I appreciate my sister so much for making sure my parents make it to their appointments and scheduling their Covid immunization. My mother is a retired nurse so she did her research on this vaccination before deciding that she wanted this one. I on the other hand really like the way the AstraZenica vaccine sounds. But that still has not been released as far as I know. Which is ok…because I don’t know when my turn in line will come.
