    The most amazing thing:

The speed of light is 186,000 mps.

When you consider the universe is so insanely massive, and growing, that the only limitation to what you could (theoretically) see is the growth that occurred possibly an infinite amount of time ago, which isn’t a thing. So. we use terms like “light years” which is a measurement of distance, not time. Literally the amount of distance you can travel in 1 years time moving at the speed of light. Which is approximately 6,000,000,000,000 (6 Trillion) miles. Then consider how there are planets, stars and galaxies that are billions of light years away. That’s billions of trillions of miles away.

Since light has a speed limit and sight is determined by light particles travelling into your eyes. The best case scenario- the observable universe (aka the farthest thing that you could possibly see with the most advanced telescopes that don’t even exist yet) would be something that happened/existed billions of years ago.

The most amazing thing is that we have no comprehension, at all, of what the universe is. How big the universe is. How fast it’s growing. Or what is inside of it. If we could see the outer edge, we’d only be seeing something that happened so long ago it challenges the accepted age of the universe.
