• it’s 44 degrees and it’s still a sunny day. Days like this feel like they’re deeper than what they are. The wind is so negative but the sun so positive. It’s like a reminder that even on the worse days there’s […]

  • Today I was with my mom, and I ended up sad by the end of it. I saw her for her. I saw her as another person and not just “mama”. I feel like she saw more of who I am too. I was actually more comfortable bei […]

    • I can definitely relate. It’s a game changer when we can see our parents as humans who make mistakes, are learning as they go, etc., and not just our mom or dad. I’m glad you had that day with your mom. I hope you have many more days like that with her.

    • Sorry it’s a bad start but reading this, what I am reading and seeing is that, although it IS hard, it seems like you need to find your peace IN the situation, where you are at, right now, and then by focusing on your peace within, you will be able to see more clearly where you need to go, to get to where you need to be. By focusing only on the negative stuff going on, you get tunnel vision, you know? Best wishes to you and hope this starts to sort itself out for you.

    • I was here 10 years ago too under a different name…that community was like no other. I’ve always wished would be back. Welcome home 🙂
