“Road To Flourishing” is a great and welcomed read on improving employee engagement in a world where workplace toxicity seems to get worse and worse. Around 180 pages, the title discusses 8 keys to a flourishing work culture, goes into great depth on how to improve each of the 8 keys, and states that employee engagement = organizational success (and when, o when will organizations understand that!).

After reading the book, here’s what I like:

– Very easy to read and understand.

– While the book focuses on Christian organizations, the principles may be applied anywhere.

– Good reflection questions to ask for individual or group study.

– Excellent bibliography for further reading on each of the 8 keys.

– Covers many relevant topics.

– Excellent practical suggestions.

– Like the honesty and frankness on the cultures of the organizations covered.

– Written from a Christian perspective.

Overall, and excellent read and helpful for anyone, whether an employee, manager, or owner. Recommended. I was given a review copy by IVP in exchange for a fair review and appreciate the opportunity.
