  • That’s a very contentious issue which has raised many arguments over the years since campaigning began. Countries like Holland and Canada have legalised it, and there are probably more to add to the list. Here in Britain it has already been prescribed to certain patients by doctors simply because it does have medicinal uses. But there’s a long way…[Read more]

  • Jules answered to the question “Lockdown Hobbies1 month ago

I have many hobbies which, during my working life pulled me away from enjoying them to the full. But now in early retirement all my hobbies have been unleashed and I am free to pick and choose how I please. I haven’t found any new interests or hobbies during lockdown other than the preoccupation of staying safe.

  • I seem to remember that thoughts had something similar to this back in the day. I was half expecting to see the posters avatar in the answer field – maybe that would help the reader easily identify who the poster is. A minor gripe but otherwise it looks fine and does what it says on the box.

  • Yes, from certain stand points and with hindsight the world is a nut house.

Should’ve included a certain person who mentioned the use of bleach or disinfectant injected into the body as a possible cure. From a future stand point who would credit that?

So you just copy & paste the embed code?

  • Oh… and shouldn’t that be Sean Lennon and not Julian?

  • Monica. How did you post a video in the comments section?

    Me not know how!

  • Yes, I did some searching around about them – in all honesty I have never heard of them before. And to think Julian Lennon is involved in such a project makes sense to me, somehow.

I liked it so much I am going to order a copy from Amazon.

  • Sounds very old school psychedelic rock, circa 60’s – early 70’s.

I can hear a lot of influences in this track – a whole bunch of them in fact, (White Noise springs to mind for one) but if you’re aiming to be retro then there’s no avoiding it.

    I like it.

In that case I’m pretty sure I haven’t read them. Vampires and Witches! What an odd combination.

  • Good ole Pete! Didn’t realise it was his birthday today.

He was born in Bromley, not that far from where I grew up.

I might have read the Mayfair Witches at one time, but I have no memory of it if I have. I have read soooo many books over the years and some of them become a bit blurry in my mind. I do remember reading a story by HP Lovecraft called “In the Witches Chamber.” – I think that’s what it’s called.

  • Holy moly, Ben. Sounds like you’re in overdrive!

The day had come when Genna could take no more ridicule or abuse from her Coven. She would prove once and for all that she could indeed command the very flames of her passionate soul, then release it upon the […]

    • Super Fire!

    • Carrie like minus the Coven. Spooky!

Speaking of Covens….there is a disciplined Wiccan living down the mountain. We actually have a few in the neighborhood. They have a bonfire on every full moon and at times the new moon and every Wiccan occasion in-between. AND its a 12 hour fire in most cases. I have been wanting to drive down there to meet them a few times but my sons throw such a fit. They had a fire the other night so I grabbed my Ritual calendar to see what was up. It was a Last Quarter waning Moon ceremony. So interesting.

I truly enjoy a good Witch story.
One of my friends is a High Priestess who came back from a Big Witches gathering with messages. I will share a few….

      2. Don’t eat pork this year.

!. Hang a wind chime outside of your house.
2 Drink Bitter root and sage tea during the time of Corona.

I know I am jumping around a bit…but have you read The Mayfair Witches?

        • The Mayfair witches is a series by Anne Rice. She crosses over the Vampires and Witches down the series. I absolutely loved the books until they got a bit to ……mmm….crazy?
