Once I was nice, but it didn’t work out.
Now I’m just mean, and of that there’s no doubt.
I’m no do-gooder; I’m a son of a gun.
Nice is nicer, but mean is more fun.
I wouldn’t go back to nice if I could.
Thank me for helping you nice folks look good. -

I don’t know why this posted twice, and I don’t understand why there’s no way to delete it. Looks like thinkr is pretty much thoughts, only with not much actual thought going into thinkr. Does that about sum it up, ben?

Roger: Judy said my apartment stinks.
Craig: Who’s Judy?
Roger: My sister. You met her.
Craig: Not ringing a bell.
Roger: At Junior’s wedding.
Craig: Not ringing a bell.
Roger: Well, you were so damn drunk, it doesn’t surprise me.
Craig: Ya know, your place does stink. A little. Not bad, you know, just . . .
Roger: So does yours!
Craig: Hell, I…[Read more] -

What makes xians think Jesus’ resurrection was such a big deal? Lots of people were resurrected that day.
Matthew 27:50-53:Then Jesus cried again with a loud voice and breathed his last. At that moment the curtain of the temple was torn in two, from top to bottom. The earth shook, and the rocks were split. The tombs also were opened, and many…

3- I see the bible for what it says. And what it says includes countless contradictions, errors, inconsistencies, and ambiguities. You accept that as some sort of challenge. I accept it as absolute proof that Christianity is a fraud, a bundle of lies, and a con that has been inflicted on humanity for 2000 years.
The one issue on which Jesus was…[Read more]

2- Yes, he certainly did say some other things about heaven, and it’s too bad you don’t have time to look them up, because they are extremely important. It’s too bad Christians never bother to read them or pay attention to them, because it changes everything they think they know about Jesus.
But that’s okay, Christians, I have looked them up for…[Read more]

1- Yes, that is the point. We get a nice neat list of the 12 in Matthew. But Luke mentions Judas, son of James, which is not in Matthew’s list. He apparently replaces Thaddeus, who is not listed in Luke. John mentions Nathanael, who some claim is Bartholomew, although there is no biblical basis for it. I understand your point about some guys…[Read more]

I’ll demonstrate.
1- According to the gospels, what are the names of Jesus’ 12 disciples? Don’t leave anything out.
2- What did Jesus say about heaven?
3- Tell me the Easter story in your own words, without omitting any information provided in the bible.
Three very simple, basic questions that anyone claiming to be a Christian should be able…[Read more]

Oh, I’ve studied plenty of those. I was raised in church. I majored in Bible in college. If you think I’m wrong, make your case. I call it Bible Study because that’s exactly what it is. Xians do not read the bible. They read what other people say about what the bible says. That’s why I need to teach xians about the bible.

It is the job of the Secret Service to protect the President of the United States. On November 22, 1963, the SS failed to do that. But it’s much worse than that. The SS was part of the conspiracy to murder JFK. Here’s how they did it.

Although JFK was President of the United States, he was not in control of foreign policy. He wasn’t even in control of his own administration. He relied more on the KGB than he relied on his own State Department. Read more.

JFK didn’t fear his own death. He was ready for it. The rest of us were not.
When he died, so did our best chance for world peace. Here’s why I say that.

There are a number of very serious problems with the John gospel. The bottom line is that John is not on the same page as the synoptics. Worse, John (whoever he was) was a fraud. His own words prove it.

Paul never met Jesus. The typical Christian response is: yes he did, on the road to Damascus. No. Paul heard a voice which claimed to be Jesus, and the voice spoke about 30 words to Paul. It hardly compares to the twelve disciples who lived with Jesus for several years. Nor did Paul rush to meet the disciples to learn as much as he could from them…[Read more]

There are countless problems in the Bible.
For example, virtually every Christian knows that Jesus had twelve disciples (in his inner circle). But you cannot give us an accurate list of their names that includes all the information in the gospels. Go ahead, try.
For example, there is no more important story in the Bible than the Easter story.…[Read more]

Christians all want to go to heaven. Yet, they go kicking and screaming when they get sick. Ask 100 Christians to describe heaven, and you’ll get 100 variations on “I don’t really know”. But they should know. Jesus told them what heaven would be like. But they ignore what Jesus said and instead look to the insane book of Revelation for answers.…[Read more]
