Little Triumphs

Little triumphs has seen light,

Persistence has paid off,

Doing it made it to little heights,

And avoided being cut-off.

Now there’s joy like a little child,

Gives warmth to a cold month,

Who knows what we might find,

If we keep up this onslaught.

A feeling of contentment,

In simple things we find,

Victory in greater things,

Is not very far behind.

Now the mind enjoys calm,

That once was elusive,

There’s peace in the midst of alarm,

The result of being submissive.
