Introduction

Hello, my name is Lindsey, and I would like to take a moment to properly introduce myself. I am “New” to the site in the sense that I had a thoughts.com account many years ago, but over time I stopped using it. I reactivated my account today because I feel like it’s time that I start sharing myself with the world.

You see I have been bitten by the creative bug lately, my spark has been re-ignited, and the words have been flowing through me just the way they use to. But of course, this must all be very confusing, so let me start from the beginning.

From a very young age I have had a very active imagination. Playing in my back yard was usually done by myself, and I was making up stories in my own mind and playing, acting them out. I was always meant to be on the stage, or at the very least behind it writing the stories that the actors played. When I wasn’t playing outside I was inside roller-skating around the house and telling my mother whatever stories popped up into my head.

Middle school was when I started thinking up short stories and poems. This is also when I started writing my first novel. I have dreamed since this day of becoming a published author. My collection of works has grown significantly over the years, lots of characters who all live within me. I want so badly to bring them to life and share our stories as well as daily life.

I am going to start by sharing some poetry and some other things as time, life and work permits. I hope you will join me. I hope you will enjoy my works and maybe stick around if you do. At any rate, thank you for stopping by. My first poem will follow this post, until then Keep Dreaming.

                                                                                                   Always,

                                                                                                       Lindsey

  1. Welcome back. Like you, I am also just rediscovering this wonderful place. After going ‘off-track’ on a surreal journey through a darker place and time, I was again drawn here by the words flowing through me and the memories of before. I look forward to reading your posts,.
