Moonlight shining in the morning,

New burst of energy that lasts,

Still don’t know where it’s going,

Strange shadow in the pavement it casts.

A different kind of nothing,

Of the blue sort it seems,

Far from Saturn’s ring,

But nearer to earth like a dream.

A thousand years in every song and in every moment,

The waters serene, calm and still,

This must be the angels’ best,

A deeper sense of joy you feel.

Loneliness made romantic,

The magic of deeper realms,

It’s poison that make other men sick,

But for you it’s tonic from the moonlight’s beam.
