My son is in college (the UK version, not uni) full time, he has an evening/weekend job and it’s hard for him but he’s managing it somewhat. I think 3 years only matters if you are a minor and they are an adult. But if you are an adult and they are an adult…..nothing wrong with a 3 year difference.
