The way you speak to others is proof enough of a self-centered life. You don’t know me nor my experiences but yet you claim to know more than I because I believe in God. You justify your own disdain for others who oppose you because you think you are better than they. Isn’t that self-centered? There is just as much actual evidence for God’s existence as there is for God’s lack of existence. You can no more prove to me God does not exist than I can prove to you that He does exist. There is no hard and indisputable evidence showing that God does not exist. Your belief system relies just as much on faith as mine. So to say you use fact, is a lie.

Norwegianmetal – it was you who said you are better than my God. It is you who have implied that you know the truth. Again – your sarcasm and put downs of another’s beliefs are incredible. You become angry because I presume things about you when you do the same about me but while doing so put me down. If you knew even the smallest amount of your own sin – you would know it comes straight from your heart – thus the reason for God dealing with our hearts. By the way, if you truly believe there is no God – what would be wrong with living a self-centered life?

Believe me – God will prove His existence in His time. Every knee, even yours, will bow to Him. You are witty norwegianmetal; however, it is not your brain that is the problem, it is your heart and soul – these are the things you have shut off and built walls around. Your pride and your anger prevent you from opening your heart and soul up to the smallest amount of hope in anything outside yourself. In your eyes, YOU can handle anything, YOU create your own rules, YOU are in control of your life. This is all an illusion – at any moment your life can be taken from you, your country can become bankrupt, another human being could destroy everything you care about. YOU have no control over anything but the decisions YOU make, but even many of them rely on other people not working against you. Living a life centered around YOU will only lead you down a road of regret, bitterness, lonliness, and resentment. A road, I think, you have already begun as you have a difficult time discussing opposing beliefs without using sarcasm and put downs.

I am so very sad for you – for you to be able to say that you, a finite and created being, are better than the God of the universe. I do not claim to have evidence that God exists nor will I. I cannot prove to you He exists. I know He exists but that means nothing to you. God WILL show himself to those who seek Him out. He will not show Himself to the proud of heart. Scripture says he resists the proud and gives grace to the humble. This is the truth – so you want evidence that you will never get unless you humble yourself before the Lord. And the sad thing is- your pride will not even consider this as an option. Peace to you Norwegianmetal.

norwegianmetal – there is so little you understand. Of course, my belief in God will cause me to take moral stands on moral issues – but that is because God’s Word takes stands on moral issues. God is all about morality and moral living. He punishes the unrighteous for immoral living. That is obvious. You are right that I have not ‘seen’ God, but I have felt His presence and I have heard his voice. God is very real and one day we will ALL see God. Jesus, the one true God, is our only source for morality. Why? Because he is the lawgiver. He made the law. Everything you think you know to be moral – comes from your own personal opinion which carries no merit because YOU are NOT the source of all truth and knowledge. Unless you can prove to me you are, nothing you say holds any water. You can say the same to me – but it is not my words that hold merit either. Only God’s Word matters. You will see this to be true sooner or later – there is no questions about that.
