About girlvsgorilla

I'm not actually called Zoe Westdyke, that's just my "Stripper Name" (You know the one with your pet and the street you lived in when you were born...), but I wanted to put a name. Makes it a bit more nice and personal.

I'm a 21-year old Medical Student. I'm bisexual. I'm a right nerd. I regularly Google "funny animals", "awesome hamsters" and other such things. I'm KICKING THE ARSE OF MY EATING DISORDER. I like nerdy things, I make jokes, I'm a bit silly, and I'm scared.

That should give you a pretty accurate idea of me...This is my life :) Come along with me!

  • Thank you so much your thoughts and insight means a lot, and you’re right with baby steps.
In the past month or so I’ve changed using “lighter” style things to the “light” versions, and started adding some milk to my porridge as well as water. They’re big things to me, even if they seem like nothing to people outside…and looking back over the past 6 months I know a lot has changed. Your blog is so inspirational, too. You’ve come through so much and we’re all doing amazingly to still be here! There’s a reason for everything, I believe that much!
Yes, we definitely need to start a “baby steps” trend! I talked to my parents about the idea and I think it gave them a new understanding of the problem and of my road to recovery…thank you
