I am a wife, mother and grandmother of 14 grandsons and two grandaughters. This is a devotional blog taken from my book The God Who Sees Me - A Devotional Prayer Journal.
I am presently posting devotons from the Old Testament which focus on real people who lived in Bible times. There are riches in these Bible readings that can be applied to our lives today. My brief comments are from learning to trust God's Word in my own life and share it with family and friends.
Hopefully you will discover before you die that there is only one mediator between God and man – one who intervenes by purchasing us through His blood on the cross. He becomes our intervener both now and for eternity.
March 24, 2012The truth is that each child kind of determines for himself when he is ready. If it is too young, you are merely training yourself. But my next to the youngest grandchild (of 15) surprised everyone by climbing up on the toilet before he was two (he is small and agile) and simply trained himself. He has four older brothers so I guess he just wanted to be like them.

Interesting that this Psalm says that those who dwell in His house and are ever praising Him in the valley will “make it a place of springs.” Then He sends the rains which cover it with pools. Our thankfulness and praise brings even more living water from Him. Praise the Lord!

August 11, 2008Whenever I read you blog I can picture being there you are so descriptive. Sorry you have been sick but hope you enjoy sitting by the fire with your cup of soup! Loved the description of people walking in the wind by the water.
