I’m sorry but I have to say that both are quite overused :/ I can’t see how you will develope either story without just repeating what others have wrote; especially with the second subject you enlisted. Don’t get me wrong; if you have a good idea of what you want to write and you believe it’s good go ahead and write it – it’s your story after all!

I understand you feel angry that they don’t trust you but remember that if you show your anger you’ll only make things worse. Instead be nice and if they really are good friends they will eventually understand. Just give them some time One more thing, is this ex of yours a good friend of your friends? Because that would be a tiny problem. In that case try not to say bad things about him to them-it will only convince them that you talk shit about people behind their backs, even if you are right!
