Who's attacking Christians?

Seems like an awful lot of people are attacking the Christians on this forum lately, doesn't it?  Well, maybe not just "lately", :), it's been going on for a long time.  Christians have been attacked for centuries for our beliefs,  but who does it,...

Wonderful

Have you been to the places where I keep the snow? Who gives birth to the sleet and the frost that fall in winter, when streams and lakes freeze solid as rock? Bible: Job: 38 Note: Even though we dislike the snow because of its hazards and hard work...

  • Good luck Sky. Don’t be discouraged by unbelievers. – 2 Timothy 4:5 – But you, keep your head in all situations, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, discharge all the duties of your ministry.

  • I agree with you gn. And willdo makes some good points too. I clearly remember very early in the first term of the Obama administration during an interview on television with George Stephanopolis. Obama referred to his “Muslim faith” and George quickly corrected him to say “Christian faith.”

  • I agree with skykerr98. And it would have been neat to hear the evangelist say which way it is. All churches ask for cash, and that in itself is not a bad thing. What’s bad is when they become more interested in collecting money than preaching the word. If we don’t want to give we don’t have to.

  • I believe that Jesus and his disciples collected donations when needed. Some say that Judas acted as treasurer before he had his problem. The group would have needed food and supplies just like anyone else. Bible verses like “the worker is worth his wages” and others come to mind, but my favorite is 2 Corinthians 9:7-
Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.- Honestly taking money is no big deal when it is used properly.

  • There is an older couple at our church who also raised their grand daughter. When it becomes necessary to do that I’m thankful that the Lord provides someone.

……… I can’t believe Obama won. I am so depressed today. Obama is a muslim and a comunist. From the way things were before election day you can just about bet that Obama cheated and I think they will be doing a backgrownd search on it… This was the last time he could be president so what is stopping him from finishing the job on America now? We prayed and fasted and we did what we could. All I have to say now is that you can just about bet God is gonna be coming back soon. If you look at what the bible says especialy in Rev. than you will know that its nearing the time. We are getting ready for the antichrist and when that happens…. Its gonna be just about time for God’s children to go home. Its sad to say but if you can I would highly rocommend that you go buy a good gun and lots of bullets because Obama is going to try and take them away. Just pray. We may have the worst president but we know that God is still on the throne. I hope that God will help this country through this because He still can but what ever happenes God is still good.

These are difficult times to be sure. America has turned it’s back on God. America is reaping what it has sown and earning it’s wages that is for sure. It’s true that God is still on the throne and for those who believe in Him and His returning, there is no fear except for those who remain. I didn’t vote for Obama either election but, I somehow knew that he would be elected and then re-elected because America has to go down this sinful pathway before the masses will wake up and then, it may be too late. Only God knows the day and time of His returning but, like you, I believe that it’s close.

I hope that God has mercy on us. Im afraid of what Obama will do since this is the last time he can be president. But I know that God will take care of his children. And maby this is gonna be what it takes to turn america back to God. Thanks. XOXOXO
