About Kione

In a world where male and female aren't the only gender you can choose on an application I find myself wondering if there is more to life that what your mother or father place in front of you and tell you to eat. How much about life do our ears deceive us about. How full are our brains. Is there more to squeeze in? Take a journey to explore not only life but the matters that affect every proposition shoved in your face by your work obsessive boss. Listen as the world listens and speak as the weasel does. Swallow like an eagle and boast like a lion. Never take your eyes away like the serpent and forever be a hobbit who is friends with Gandalf.

  • When I was a child, I use to do chores like straightening all the shoes on the mat or picking beans in the garden without my parents telling me to or saying there’d be a reward if I did. Either I was a backwards kid or I took enjoyment in doing chores. (I think it was the latter) I believe that if that study had been done on me when I was young I think a would have taken enjoyment in colouring in both parts of the study irrelevant if I was in the group that received a reward or not. One because as a kid I LOVED colouring and two, I probably would have done it just because they told me to. Although I can say that its true kids have been taught by reward. If you ask them to do something their first reply will be: “What’s in it for me?”

  • I am curious as to why you placed rejection and silence in a negative aspect. Can these not be used to figure out something about ourselves; that our thoughts and authenticity are different. So someone doesn’t comment on your post; that is just saying you spread your wings where others dare not to even fly. It can also be praise to your ingenuity. The fact that you can harp upon revelations and understandings that just baffle others. And sure I guess there is that little bit of sadness that no one is interested in what you say or think but that should not be fuel added to your fire of anger. Think of yourself as special. And because no one replied it just means that no one has taken away what is special to you or about you. In fact I would go as far as to say that some are left speechless after reading. You have rattled their brains. And they are left without thought.
Silence is your perspective. But you have yet to receive the perspective of those that passed without response. The world has more than one dimension. And although the majority tend to view life like that, look farther. There are many reasons to why silence is the only thing you hear. And to why silence just might be preferable to voice.
In a world of peace, there is silence for gunshots don’t rattle the night sky.

  • I very much enjoy writings like this. Its very creative and mystifying and keeps me thinking, wondering what it is that that girl knows. And the funny thing is, I’ll probably never know. These are the pieces I enjoy writing myself. There are so many ways to interpret this. And the only true meaning behind it that you created will be understood by you alone. Keep writing things like this… I enjoy it immensely!

  • Have you ever read Alvin Plantinga’s ‘Where the conflict really lies’? I think you’d really like it.
