I recently turned 50, and I am forging ahead with Christ at the helm. I had been a nonbeliever for most of my life, but at age 40 I underwent a spiritual metamorphosis once I decided to give up my misguided ego, to surrender all my misfortunes and to give my all to Christ. I am a survivor of three crimes, all occurring at different stages of my life. This fueled my atheism. I still wear the scars in the form of Body Dysmorhic Disorder, but things have changed. I have changed even with these scars.
Ten years ago I landed a position with LivingWaters Incorporated working for a boss named Jesus. I work as an advocate spreading goodwill, love, peace, hope, understanding, and compassion to all. I love my job and my boss. I am given all the freedom I desire and need, and I can work as much overtime as I want. This is one job that I don't have to retire from, and one job I can keep as long as I desire. I love my employer, my boss, and my job so much that I look forward to waking up and going right to work as an advocate. I am blessed beyond measure. Oh how I love my job.
Note: My employer is always looking for new hires. No experience is necessary.

September 03, 2007Funny thing. He does put people in our paths. I was saved on a State van bound for a prison where I work. God placed a retired Marine in my path for this to happen. It was this one individual who steered me into the arms of the Lord.
September 02, 2007Get a vit. C supplement. 1000 mg and take that every couple hours. Also get the Airborne (or generic version) and take that three times a day.

July 16, 2007Christians are human and are not without sin. Not all Christians are judgemental. Actually, many are quite forgiving and spend their time lifting people up. Each person grows at different rates and each person is in a different stage of growth. Christians are the same way. Some are mature Christians and some are immature.
. . . . and, yes, it is a sin to judge.
